You are all very welcome and we all enjoyed the show. Everybody in the club put in a lot of hours making it happen
and I believe we felt it was well worth it. Local response has been outstanding! Here is another nice picture.

That is a great picture of Evelyn Joe. So neat when a previous owner looks at their resurected machine.

Hey fellas, great to hear all the responses about the Horicon shows, sorry I missed it. I'm a member of the JDSledriders, but couldn't make it to the big show due to family vac in FL.

Fortunately, my grandmother covered for me! A couple months ago, Joe called me and asked if my grandma ever had an LX. I told him yeah, I thought she did and wondered why the hell he was asking?? Then he gave me the long story about finding her machine. 15yrs ago my dad and I sold it in frustration because it wouldn't stay running and we were sick of dealing with it..never thought I'd be back into JD sleds years later! She thinks it's pretty cool that it's still around and gave Joe a big thumbs up for the great job he did with it. She was very exciting about the attention. Her and grandpa put thousands of miles of JD sleds over the years.
She also said that Joe should give it to her grandson(me) and that she always meant for it to stay in the family.(ok, I made that up, but I'm going to keep working on Joe!)

Sorry I missed meeting everyone. Looking forward to next years show.

That picture of her will be in the paper this week.
If you can get your grandma to tell me personally that she wants you to have the sled ... I
will consider letting you have another go at wrecking it!

Make sure you bring that up just before the next show. They are a personal favorite of mine!
The brats were excellent .... I agree. Pilly spent Tuesday night grilling 150 of them and woke
up with a headache the next day for some reason?

The problem with grilling is that it is very thirsty work.
