1981 Liquifire with an "A" stamped after the date

Rich stated on an earlier post that they only made 107 with an A stamped after the date. I was curipus why deere did this? How is it different than the other one's with no A stamped on it.

1981 A Liquifires were regular 81 sleds updated with the 82-84 Liquifire HSR Ignition and tr800 clutch if I am not mistaken.

Good luck trying to find one of those Integrated Coil CDI set ups. It took me 4 months to try and find one.
