I didn't know Amarillo, TX was part of the snow belt - probably why this JDX8 only has 103 miles on it.

Deere in Texas?
I emailed the guy for pictures and he responded back with the sled was sold last week. Maybe somebody will install a wheel kit and do a little summer riding!

Actually Rich is correct, the Deere company owned dealership, "Texas Tractor and Equipment" sold sleds as the New Mexico Angel Fire mountains were 5 hours away. I was general manager in Amarillo and sold sleds, my son was born there. I would assume the milage on this X8 would be correct as they got very little use from the flatlanders that owned them. Amarillo would actually get some snow...and it was a big deal when it happened. I was there in 1983. Best JRC

Just like John said, they do get snow out there, as it did a few times when I lived out that way in 1998-99. And i do know they ride in New Mexico, as the mountains get lots of snow near the northern border.
