When I do winter sled work I use this type of heater (when it is not borrowed out) for the quanset. We call them Knipco Heaters. Years ago when I worked at local JD Dealer they sent me to service school on these things. The low pressure style are simple but remember they burn a flammable liquid! Check this site out for help and BE CAREFUL! http://www.croteauenterprises.com/faq.html

ALSO CHECK YOUR PUMP PRESSURE SHOULD BE A PLACE ON BACK OF UNIT WITH A THREADED PLUG TO SCREW PRESSURE GAGE IN IF YOU HAVE A SERVACE MANUAL SHOULD GIVE PSI RATING IVE GOT A SEARS CRAFTMAN 30,000 BTU AND PSI IS 3.0 LBS.
ALSO CHECK YOUR AIR FILTER. IF ITS NOT PULLIG ENOUGH AIR THREW IT WILL SHUT OFF.
