Hmmmm I invested no small amount in original 16mjm movies, 16mm projector, VHS camcorder (at the time), VHS to DVD recorder, and yes i already had a DVD player. I have almost broke even on the whole venture.
which is about standard for making anything repoped including movies.

With newer gear, it's much cheaper and easier now to share stuff like this. Of course, that's unfortunate for you since you have an investment in it, but that's the way it goes.
