I'm a little confused by the color of the bumper tape.

The sled looks like a 79 trailfire with a custome hood paint job and 78 decals. The dash is 79 vinatge and the cleated track is another non-Liquifire item. Frame looks steek which is also 79 Trailfire. Definitely not an 81 Liquifire.

How good is your friend?

Anyone know why the bumper tape is red and yellow? I looked back on the site and didn't see any Deere's with that color of bumper tape.

If I had the means to set up a good friend for an April Fools joke, that machine would be the end result.
Think about the phone call:
"Hey Frankie, I was talking with a buddy over beers and he says there's an old Deere sled sitting in his grandpa's barn. He might get rid of it for $400. Yeah, it's a black one, think it says liquid on it. No cracks or crashes, grandpa used to ride it around. Grandpa's not around but we can go ask Grandma about it. If you pay her for it you can pick it up in spring when the snow melts..."

Saw that yesterday, too.
Was there some story behind black Trailfires? I think I remember seeing some that were bought for a company that were all black, and i've seen black tunnels.

I think that trailfire looks nice in black with the green decals. I still wonder sometimes why people put down the wrong names when they are right on the hood.

P.S, Am I the only one that thinks the bumper color is weird on the "81 Liquifire" I have only seen yellow or white tape not the red and yellow that's on the machine.
