I'm still confused as I don't recall seeing a plastic cover over a driven clutch. Did you mean the plastic cover that surrounds the drive clutch and forms the LH side of the dash console?

As far as i know it may be plastic or metal not sure if you go thru some of the conversions on this it might help us out.I have apart #m63913.This cover was also used on jdx4,6,8 plus 300,400and JD295S.
