someone really needed a new dash
I was just checking out some of my junkers and I had to chuckle when I saw the dash on one of the Liquifires. The guy sure must have spent some time building it. Guess it must have been back before the things started popping up for sale on ebay.

If only he had used aluminum rivets! Still looks cool and the spacing looks spot on!

Yes, you gotta admit the guy must have put a fair bit of thought into it and it does actually fit rather well. But it still sorta has that redneck look to it. Seeing as you guys admire it so much, anyone of you is welcome to it for the cost of the shipping. It kinda would be nice to see it on a running sled.....sorta sad to see the guys hard work just sitting there on a wreck.

Pete, if you still have it next time I am up your way I think I can find a home for it. There is an 82 i have to pick up and I'm pretty sure it is missing the dash

Sure thing, Scott. I'll set it aside for you. Just let me know when you're heading out this direction and I'll try to arrange to be around here.

Thanks Pete. I feel I should add that if someone wants it and is willing to get it shipped to them, or can beat me up there. Go for it, I will add it a LF if I get it but if someone needs it let Pete know and have at it.
Some friends and I are trying to locate a large sled graveyard up by you. two unsuccessful attempts and we are still looking. Last time they had written directions and could not find it. Might be chassing ghosts but I want to give it another try.
Scott

That guy must have worked for Northwest Airlines like I did. That is what you did if you were in a shop and had a little EXTRA time on your hands.......... we call that a "G" job.....
