Mitch Edwards was kind enough to send me a fuel pickup filter and the grommet for the fuel tank (Additionally he sent a very nice sum of money to Matt, Thanks Mitch!). What I still need however and it can be used so check all of your 80-84 Trailfire/Sportfire/ and Liquifire tanks is an M68611 fitting that goes into tank via the grommet. If you have one to offer please send it to me at 3977 NW Carlin Court / Churubusco, IN 46723

Hi All! The list of needed parts (first in this thread) is getting shorter but we really need the parts marked with an asterisk (*). If you get time please look the list over again then check around your shop to see if you have any of the items. Money of course is great too. Matt posted directions for money on the home page. DA

Don I found four of those pesky bushings your are looking for but they have those equally pesky white stickers on them so maybe you do not want them. Same goes for the NOS flap support. Let me know. Todd

DA dropped by the shop and donated a set of Wiseco piston/rings (wow..thank you DA!!) and a nice Windrosa engine gasket kit. He also brought over an air inlet shroud/duct, so be sure to mark them off your list Don. I also got a set of new clutch rebuild parts from Mr. Rainville too! Thanks a bunch guys and I'll do you proud! :usa:

Dang, I thought I snagged a new track for the Sporty right here in Fort Wayne. Turns out it's an all rubber Kimpex (new). I dont' want to go to the hassle of putting it on the charity sled. The guy has a 79 Trailfire to sell that sounds pretty nice. I'll post the info in the classified section.

Update: An NOS brake rotor arrived today thanks to Joe Rainville. I will reuse the jackshaft after cleaning it up.

Also arriving was the beautiful new gas guage/cap thanks to Dean at PartConnection. They specialize in Kelch gas caps pre-made. The website address for their store is www.the-partconnection.com. For you muscle car fans, the have parts for them also.

Todd (JDT) is shipping the spindle bushings directly to Kevin (kwc) Campbell for the chassis. Thanks Todd!!

At this point I believe that I can salvage the rear flap support.

If you haven't had a chance to participate, we really need a new windshield.
