ok guys went an pulled the clutch completely apart an upon cleaning it I noticed that on the plate thst holds the clutch togather it was stamped with the following,mfg by cometindustries mod 102c r 1 pat applied for now the argument we are at is what does the r stand for I just assumed it stood for race but not sure so does anyone know what the r stands for .

Storm,
I just looked at the cover plates on my 76 liquifire and cyclone.
The liquifire plate did not have any other id marks othere than 102-C,
The cyclone plate had 102-C 1 O stamped on it. The other numbers problably have something to do with the weight/spring combination, identifing which sled to install the clutch on.
