Re: Fired up some hot vintage today
I can't even tell you how many hours I have into these things. And I don't even want to think about the $$, I might throw up. It definitely is a sickness but I guess it's better than being hunched over a bar stool.

Re: Fired up some hot vintage today
They look a lot better today than when I last saw them Robb. Something about a background of white powder vs concrete and stud walls...as I've said before you do marvelous work and have a hell of a collection. I took the boys on 2 laps around the house on both the 84 and 81 as I had to get them off the trailer to go pickup my latest project. Not nearly enough ride time to satisfy their or my desires.

Robb I would be happy to put some miles on the 550 just to see if it is ready for you to ride.
Looks truely fantastic.

Nice sled work, but uhmmm......I'll have to hate you now, due to all that snow you have to play in and the damned 40* weather we're having.... Boooooooo!

Re: Fired up some hot vintage today
Forgot one! This will be a main vintage rider this winter. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about my Deere's. Now that these sleds are done, I'll get back to the Deere's for the rest of the winter.

I have never been much on sleds from north of TRF but I do like that Indy CC.

1982 SRX 500 is rare, you lucky bassturd.Beautiful sleds you got there.
Re: Fired up some hot vintage today
Wow! Great stuff, especially that SRX. Wasn't there some controversy about those things back in the day? Something about a big recall?

There's only 13 or 14 confirmed in existence right now.

I'd love to hear more of that history...or a link if it's been discussed elsewhere.
