Liquifire stator Test
Can one Ohm test a stator, like on the earlier LF if so what are the readings? The TM doesn't say anything.

80 LF stator
I have two 1983 stators. I am familiar with the circuit. to check, ohm the red lead to case ground should indicate 210 Ohms. This 210 Ohms is comprised of two coils in series the center tap being the white lead . the white lead to case will give you 165 Ohms the white lead to red lead will indicate 46 ohms. so: 46 Ohms and 164 Ohms=210 Ohms. the 1980 stator is simular. Mine two 1980's are up the cabin so I do not got their Ohms. Also. an LTD is 23 Ohms and 128Ohms=156 Ohms.
Look for an open coil/bad wire this way.
