I have a 1980 Liquifire that is being a royal pain to start. Hot or cold. I have replaced the seals, cleaned the carb and replaced the jets, cleanup up the fuel lines and rebuilt the fuel pump and added a shut off valve. Nothing has helped. It takes over 10 pulls to get it running. The best way to get it running so far has been turn on the choke half way, pull twice, then shut it off and pull till it starts. When it does go it sits around 300rpm till I feather the gas and get the speed up to 3K, then it is ok.
Any ideas what I should check?

It may be a weak ignition oil.....how are your rubber carb flanges between the carb and jug...
