Yamaha Enticer 80 something

Post by spudnut »

May go look at this machine, the price is right. All I have is a picture, it is a long track, two up machine with leaf spring front suspension. Not sure of the motor or exact year. Anyone ever had one of these machine? good, bad, indifferent. Thanks

Could be one of those Yamaha " work " sleds if it has a long track. They made versions of those for many years with leaf spring front ends. Enticer LT perhaps? I seem to recall something called a VK 540 that had a 535 cc mill; I think a VK 540 II was the same thing with the strut front end. Yamaha made a trail sled with that engine at the same time but it vanished in favor of newer stuff while the engine lived on in the LT utility machine.

The engine would be a 340 twin. They made these in the early 80's.

Very neat sled and kind of rare.
