Vintage Challenge update

Post by 400brian »

Discussions have been ongoing with Loren and Jon. It sounds like the ideas we have been tossing around are being well received.

Nothing is written in stone at this point. My guess is that this will get hashed out on Friday, either at the HOF or the evening meal at the "19th Hole."

My suggestion would be to be prepared to leave directly from the Whitetail after breakfast. I would also suggest VC riders have their sleds fueled, and off the trailers ready to go, before you go in for breakfast.

We want to group up in flights of 6-8, of riders who think they can ride with each other. So be thinking about that. :sled: :sled: :sled: :sled: :sled: :sled: :sled: :sled:

Has there been any discussion with anyone about posting some kind of signs for the HOF route? No offense to our trail guide last year, but he wasn't even sure of the route. At several intersections, he was asking for approval on the route.

Just a thought since it sounds like the VC folks are leaving ahead of the newer sled groups,

Rainville plans on a pre-run of the route. He may mark the intersections, I'm not sure what his plans were.
