Finally got her home!

Post by Funrover »

My wife and I finally have our new project home. We have picked up a 1979 Trailfire. I am completely new to this but I am still very excited. We have already started making plans for next winter! I am sure there will be many questions along the way, I apologize before hand.

You'll have plenty of help here, just ask.

Sorry, but we should follow the resto of this sled and call it the "TURD". Only because it says it on the hood.

It will look great in the end and run just as well. Good Luck.

Was that the one up in Loveland? I was gonna go look at it but never got around to it this week.

Looks really nice from the pictures, how is the track?

Funrover,

Looks like you landed an 80 Trailfire there, built in the fall of 79. Appears to have an alumium tunnel is the give away. Can you post a pic of the serial tag to be sure? Good luck getting her back in shape. I agree with Chuck, my now very nice 340/s resto looked way worse than that, and came over in boxes.

Looks like it says 05/79 which would make it an 80. Looks like a nice project sled! Congrats
