Wish me luck

Post by Danzig »

Going to an auction this weekend, calling for crappy weather, possibly snow and rain which is good for auction sales when you want something they have that you really wanted..keeps the bidding low.. :beers;

Anyhow, up on the block is a 78 Liquifire, running per the flyer. I want one of these so bad.. :pray:

Hey Paul,

Good luck this weekend! I love those '78 Liquidfires. I always thought they were a great looking sled and then I rode Rainville's 78 CC at the HOF last year. WOW! What a nice riding and handling machine. I had to have as well. I picked up a '78 440 but haven't had time to mess with it any.

I'll keep my fingers crossed! :pray:

Paul, I remember a 78 Liquifire in your friends pickup last winter. The big switcheroo in Madison, WI. Good luck, 78's are my personal favorite.

Really ?? Where abouts ?? The wife and kids are leaving Friday for 9 days in Florida, and I'll be "single".
And as we all know , single men can buy anything they want too :lol: :whistle:
Don't worry about me buying it, I already have a 78" 340 and a 440 Liquifire.

My latest project is a 78 LF340 nonCC. I'm pretty sure it'll my rider next year and I'll save the 340/S for special occasions.

DA - Are you converting to a rubber track or going with the original 2/3 cleated track?

If the opportunity presented itself to getting a rubber track I would do so. Otherwise it will be the 2/3 cleated track. I'm good either way as I just want a rider.

Don,
Good luck with your new project. I am refurbishing the same model sled and maybe I'll bring it out the next time. One suggestion is to change out the rear aluminum pivot shafts to steel ones.
