AM 53348 Pouch, Tool, I think they mounted to the front of the sub-assembly, But if you use the Front tank then you have to move them, Probably to the front of the tunnel under the motor which doesn't make them very practical at that point??
They probably came std. on the sleds with the small tank since the small tanks were mounted where the normal tool box would have been on the 00 series sleds.

Very good question! It never made it here. Mike must have removed it.

Matt, in another week or so I will be cleaning out my other garage and I'm positive I have a NOS bag in there for a 295/s? I will PM you when found and I will trade you for a cold one some day If I ever get to the shows again? Mark.

If my memory is correct ?? when the 295/s sleds came in new at the dealership the tool bag was already snapped into the front and inside the bag was the owners/setup manuel, the blue plastic pouch that contained the spark plug wrench, screwdriver etc, and I think? there was another size of main jets also..I have to laugh thinking about those nice new bags that we took out when installing the larger fuel tank "customer request" and used them for other things in the shop!! the old baler mechanic used one to store his pipe and tabacco in!! oh and those rotten aluminium ski's that came with the sled...but that's another story.... :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Just think of all those New pouches, Alum Skies, & Small Tanks that were taken off those sleds @ so many dealerships..

My 295/s had two snaps in the back of the bulkhead where the 5-1/2 gallon tank is. I just assumed that the leather tool kit bag snapped onto these and laid in the bulkhead if the front tank wasn't used.

I've heard stories of them being used for everything from a overnight shaving bag to a tackle box. The pipe and tobacco is a new one on me. :lol22:

I found mine with muskie lures in it. Removed buy the dealer/racer when he set up his sled for the I500. I also got the alum. skis with all the paint still on them, never saw snow. Not to many tool bags around, every 295/s I have ever looked at still has the 3 snaps for it. I have seen what looks like the same bag in a Arctic Cat Puma. Maybe it is another part that Deere took from Cat.
