is it worth it?
is it worth it?
good day. i had a 295/s when i was in high school in the late 70's back in mn. i traded it to a friend and haven't seen it since. i recently talked to his brother and found him. he's trying to recall what he did with it. i'm sure it didn't have the dual tanks. is this worth tracking down and getting home to montana? thanks,, dan

sure it is if it means something to you. I always would pick up a 295/s given a chance. I tracked down a liquidator from MN that ended up in Montana, brought it back to MN and restored it

veecat,
I agree with the guys. Any 295/s is worth tracking down, especially if you used to own it. They are somewhat rare with about 1,000 built, and very fast for a 295. That sled was a start of something special at Deere, next was the 340/s, then the Dator, Liquifire and Cyclones. I like the 295/s both for what it is and for what it became.
