Post by Mac67 »

hey guys , my son has an old artic cat kitty cat , and since we always ride jd was thinking of addeing a few things to it and changing it up and calling it a john deere " fawn" , maybe a stupid idea but i thought it would be pretty neat , wondering if anyone has ever made or modified another sled into a mini john deere ?

I have had the exact same intentions for our kitty cat including do it up in the 73-74 green with the yellow leaping deere decals and having a 100 badge instead of 300,400 etc. Another nice idea is theres a guy who sells reproduction seat covers on ebay he was willing to make an all black or black with yellow piping cover for this idea. I had intended to have this done already but figured would wait 1 more year in hopes the youngest learns to steer better.

good idea on the seat , there is a woman here in town that does embroidery work , i am thinking bloack and on the back embroider the john deere leaping deer , only instead of a full grown buck do it as a littlefawn with little yellow spots on him so you can tell its a fawn . might be able to have some custom vinyl graphics made up the same for the front

Back when we were racing I converted my son's Kitty Kat to a John Deere so he could play while we raced. Sorry we never took any pictures in the JD configuration. By the way he's a District Fire Chief with 4 kids, the oldest in college..................Wow does time fly...............enjoy the moment. Don
