parents bought 2 in 79, I bought 1 spring 07
have tons of spare parts, I have injection kits, electric start kits, handle bar heaters, and bunch of manuals for all 3
not all kits installed yet. I am close to having a well stocked 79 trailfire parts warehouse. I just wish I could find a good match for the Winter Frost paint. I have found that it matches an early 90's Porsche color, but it's not available in a rattle can and I don't have a paint booth.
1 running, 2 would run with fresh motors.
I am using 1 for my test sled, I'm not sure what these got for gas mileage, but I am playing with different jets to see what works the best. I have also found many differences in what these sleds are supposed to have for clutching. Mine have the U arm and silver spring, and everything on the web says they should have B and purple spring. I'm not sure what my tech and fine tune manuals say, but I'll get it eventually. Really love working on these!!

My wife's grandfather bought it new. (only 1200 mile). It sat in a barn for 15 plus years. he passed away and It was given to me. (I wanted it bad). I cleaned the carb and tank . replaced fuel pump,broken choke spring ,new plugs and shocks. It started on the 3 pull. runs great. what alot of fun. now it time to restore.
