Ride the New Breed of Deere Bumper Sticker

Post by JoeRainville »

Hey Guys,

I was on Evil Bay the other day and found a cool bumper sticker for sale. It's an original "Ride the New Breed of Deere" bumper sticker from the summer of 78, printed to support the introduction of the 79 Trailfire. I thought it was cool, so I bid...and bid..and lost. The darn thing sold for $46.50!

Here is a pic of it:

As luck would have it, I was offered a 2nd chance auction by the seller, and jumped on it. My question is this: If I had a batch of them made for Matt to sell in the jdsleds store, would you guys buy them at something like $5.00 each or so?

Thanks,

Love it, although I'm going to suggest we do it without the leaping Deere logo.

The bigger the better, I've got a lot of advertising to cover up on my new to me trailer.

I'm good for 4. Agree with Matt. Leaping deer needs to be left off.

Ok, I see a trend here, LOL!

As soon as it arrives in NY, I will get quotes on getting them printed. I should have mentioned that I was figuring that the leaping Deere logo would have to go, but we do use it when reproducing sled decals. Either way, I will get moving on this.

Price dependant, I may make a few that say "Racing The New Breed of Deere" for Kenny and I and anyone else running the I-500 on a Deere, just for fun...

Wade, I am going to pick up a few of those "Big John's in Town" stickers for my trailer too. I think those are kind of cool, and I will admit that was where I got the idea to get these reproduced from.

Thanks for the prompt feedback guys!

Joe you son of a gun. You outbid me on the Doug Oster Race and Rally on the 78 CC didn't you! Man, I thought that was crazy when someone out bid me at $45 but your decal blows me away.

I'm in too for at least 2. Hoping you may make an 'original' version of this decal too Joe with the leaping deere. I'd like to put that one in my collection and the one without the leaping deere on my sleds. Thanks Joe!
