Is the track on a 79 Trailfire the same as a Spitfire track? If they are I have a nice one.

Here's what the parts book says: Spitfires and Trailfires with serial numbers up to 120,000 share the same track. Spitfires, Trailfires with serial numbers above 120,000 and Sportfires with serial number under 155,000 share the same track. Now that's what the book show s but in reality they might all interchange. Experts????

'79 Trailfire track will fit the Spitfires, Snowfires, Sprintfires of all years.

Hey Todd...we're almost neighbors!

I have one of the '79 Trailfire/Spitfire tracks that is in OK condition. I wouldn't use it for a lot of riding, but it's usable. PM me if either of you are interested.

Rob, that show moved to October 17th. Not sure if I'll make it or not because October weekends aren't usually good for me, but we'll see.

Polaris Spit...good one...so where is my Polaris' Spits new home supposed to be?..hahhaha.got new skis for it yesterday and a headlight...windshield next...then gonna strip here down and paint her JD Green
