A1 Show

Post by That Girl Racing »

My spies at the A1 show watched a Dator being unloaded this morning and by the time they got a hold of me it was sold. Any info?

I can tell you with 100% accuracy that I did not buy it. Mostly because I wont' be there until tomorrow.

It was in Terry Beards trailer, I recognized it from the last time I saw it A1 when Gary got it.

It was there. Dad, Cameron, and I saw it.

Here's what I know...............

There were 2 Dators at the show. The first was on display near the big tent. It's had pics of it posted on here in the past....the one that has the custom flames on the hood and I think it said LF Racing on the yellow hood stripes.

I'm pretty sure the second one was the sled that had the black LF tunnel but is Dator other than that. It was in a white trailer but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Terry's. I spoke with him and Cindy for quite a while today...... I'm almost positive he didn't have his trailer there.

Sorry I can't describe the sleds better, but I did see both of them myself.

Later,
Roger

The LF/Dator was in a trailer for the purpose of being delivered to Wisconsin.

Gary/afp had posted that his sleds were no longer for sale - I know he sold the Sprintfire, I assume the Liquidatorfire as well.

Who's telling the truth?
I know where I saw it. And it was Northbound when I did.

I saw a nice LF and Yamaha that sold for way to cheap. lol.

Nick, I owe you big. But, good game anyways.

Dustin, where did you go and you forgot your cylinders.

Campbell had the crowd wow'd when he fired that "Monster" sled up.

Overall, a good time.

Me?

When we talked a few weeks ago you told me you had family commitments and couldn't go. :bonk: I'd have loved to meet the Indiana gang.

This was my first time to the A-1 and I sort of have mixed feelings about it. Overall snowmobile content was excellent, but very little Deere items. But, it's a swap meet you never know what's going to be there.

How did this year’s show compare to past years shows? I was expecting to see a few more sleds in the show area.

Nick

P.S. To the guys I did find nice meeting you. :usa:
80 Liquifire (purchased 1996 ~ Running)
80 Liquifire (purchased 2010 ~ Running....Now)
80 Liquifire (purchased 2011 ~ Not running - I officially have a problem now)
83 Snowfire (purchased 2014 father/son restoration project)
78 Spitfire ~ sold (should have been shot for this)

I needed a few good, small items to finish a 78 Cycone project and darned if I didn't find them. I needed a good brake block, stuck my hand in a box of mixed items and came up with them. Tough deaing though, they wanted $5 and I wanted to pay $1. We settled on $2.00 LOL Got a set of NOS kill and dimmer switches too. All in all a good day.
