am i seeing things or is that a hood scoop on it ? seeing that hood scoops or popping up on john deeres or is a engine shroud ?Image

That is a 1976 Cyclone and definitely a homemade scoop.

I was looking at that sled last year at the swap meet and I guess it was an attempt at getting the sled to run a bit cooler.
