Hello Guys.Well i still havent found a liquidator lurking in a barn.(Well i have but i cant quite get the deal made with the farmers son). But i did get a deal made on a 340/s with a farmer. It is supposed to have been raced at winnipeg.Havent got all the details yet.I could see where all the decals used to be but he removed them.So i dont have the race # s all i have are the serial #.He claims that he bought it from a guy in Michigan in 78.One of his buddys worked with. The sled is pretty much complete, just missing the stator. It is in decent shape, engine is free ,juice brakes still work, hood bad,it has a NOS belly pan for it.I got extra belts, gaskets, misc stuff.I am pretty excited to finally have a little piece of history,Compared to all of my other common sleds(but i guess they are all special as well).I would like to figure out where the sled originally came from .If any one can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Brock

Hello Brian. I am sure you are right because it seams like i always need parts that are hard to find used let alone NOS.So i am sure this will be a nitemare! But the sled is really pretty sound.I have started looking at things on the sled(after i got 20yrs of dust off)it is all in all in good shape. It has the dual fill tank, thats a crazy looking thing .Do you know who can check the vin # to find out where it originated from? Thanks Brock

I think I know that sled. Keep me in the loop on your find. Don't want to buy it.
