295/s secondary

Post by Kurts »

Hi,

I'm having trouble with getting my 295/s to shift out all the way. I have tried both the stock setup, and some F weights in the primary with the seconday set up really loose. It still won't shift out. It seems as if the bushing is severely worn, letting the the movable face get cocked, and binding up. Is this possible? Does anyone have any replacement bushings?
Kurt.

IF there is anything in either clutch worn ( like the bushings or the rollers etc. ) it will keep the clutch from operating the way they should..
If your talking about the movable sheave on the secondary ( driven clutch ) CPC shows 5 AM53741 Movable Sheaves, IF your talking about the movable sheave on the drive clutch AM53407 they show 8 of those?? They also show that they have 12 M65473 cover bushings ( drive clutch )

A parts whse. that jdsleds.com gets a discount at.. Just tell them you are a member, BUT make sure you have the part numbers as I don't think they like looking up part numbers..
