Pics of an old Lick in action

Post by dorkpunch »

Love the site, got lots of great info here while getting my old gurl back on the snow. Got a chance to take it out today and thought y'all would enjoy the pics of a Liquifire takin a beatin.

put about 35 miles on the Lick- and it didnt even break down!

Headed out... not lookin to great as far as snow goes...

One of these sleds is not like the other, one of these sleds just isnt the same...

Image

First sled to die- polaris! Goin slow, pullin a sled, overheated and hot-siezed. It fired up again after it cooled off and seemed to run okay the rest of the way.

JD still runnin like a top.

Yeah, after this shakedown run having proven the sled, I'm ready to spend a bit of money on it. Currently, including "purchase" price of it and two others and registration, I'm in to the sleds about $90. cant argue with that! Found another site that has a lot of parts for a lot cheaper than I've seen elsewhere, anyone ever heard of and/or used them? http://www.mfgsupply.com/garage/Snowmob ... d=rqsPZby4

Actually they're all '76's. One of 'em came with a cyclone hood though?

Looks like quite the package deal. Did you have to take the cat in order to get everything else? If so, was he properly secured for transit?

the cat was already part of the family. Found out why he was so interested in the deere's a couple of days later- one of them had a family of mice living in the air cleaner. Dipstick (the cat) took care of 'em for me.
