Howard the hoses won't do you much good as you have to put longer ones on because of the up front radiator..

Mine is a NOS 80-84. I believe both will work but it has been stated in the past that the 80-84's are preferred because of the smooth surface which doesn't collect dirt/mud/grime and reduce the efficiency of the cooling. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
