The "Busco Bullet" Returns

Post by WinnipegStPaul9 »

I've been sort of reluctant to share with you all, the "new" Busco Bullet but since the year is almost done I think it's time. I call it the Busco Bullet because I believe it represents the sled as I would have raced it in 1978 if I was still racing. To be honest, it's not done. In fact as I write this it does not have the engine installed. I'm in hopes that can be accomplished in a few days. You can see the engine in another thread titled something like "DA's new baby".

If I can figure this picture thing out correctly the first picture will be the "before" showing the sled as I bought it last May. The second one will be as it sits today.

Here's a couple more. The first one is a decal that Cam's friends designed and had produced following his death on 12/2. And of course you'll notice that I no longer use the number "9" but have switched to his football number "27".

The second picture is of the hood and while it does not show well in the picture, the bullet is chrome.

Wow, there is so much reflection I thought it had two headlights for a second. I love the vintage-style lettering.

Don,
She looks great and love the detail work! Now I wonder how much chrome is under the hood?

Hey Don, that CC looks "BEAUTIFUL"
Are you going to ride it at the HOF ride?

Don,

Looks great! Did you put that CC rear suspension on it yourself or did it come with it? I am keeping my eyes peeled for the CC setup for my 78 LF 340.
