295/s

Post by JDXspec »

This is kind of and opinion topic. I aquired a 295/s with an incorrect engine. Being as I have a 295/s and a 340/s eng which one should I use? Keep in mind I have 2 295s already with the correct engine. Should I go standard or go with a 340/s for a bit more gitty up?

Now the 2nd part of this topic- the 295 engine. This kinda strings from the previous topic in the 340rs free air eng. I have an eng that is similar to that. The tag reads KEC-295RS ser No 43X00025 the other tag reads: Made expressly for CCW by Kioritz corp. Now this eng is fan cooled has dual mikunis that do not have ID #s on them that I could see. It also has the cdi that is correct for a 295/s. the eng also came with a 295/s pipe and air box too when I bought it. It has a JD Comet 102c on it now. Since we were talking what other sleds could have a CCW 295rs eng? or Could it be an early 295/s eng? Pics coming soon

Of my 3 295/s 2 are slide and 1 bogey. If I did find a 340/s this choice would be easy but it seems 340/s are harder to come by than dators. Since I will have to take the 440 out of the 295 anyway it just the matter of which eng to put in it.
