Hi Guys,
Anyone have an AM53193 nos tach that will fit a 340/s for sale?
I am also wondering where one could find a couple hood pin wires M65913? I don't need the plates that bolt onto the hood, just the wires.
Lastly, has anyone taken a bent 'big loop' on the ski and had it straightened out? Or, anyone had a new loop made and welded onto the ski? If so, how did it turn out?
Thanks again for your help as usual,
Craig
Happy New Year!

Craig, unless you're trying to be 100% NOS you can get the cable, etc at a hardware store. That's what I did and made my own.

340s. Just a thought, but why couldn,t you use fishing leaders for your hood cables? Inexpensive, stainless steel, different lengths available, and already has the eyes attatched, plus not a big bulky eye sore. Hope this helps...Rob.

Craig,
I made both loops for my Cyclone, 7/16" rod from hdwe store. Made a pattern first from smooth wire, rounded the end of a 2x6 with band saw to match, locked in vise, torch and a hammer, welded in place and painted. Looks good. You can get crimp on ends for the small cables too.
