Best Wishes to our I-170 JD guys

Post by WinnipegStPaul9 »

Well, I reckon that if you are not ready for next weekend you'll have some tough sledding but for all our JD competitors I want to tell you that I'm proud of your efforts. I know exactly what you have been going through. Hopefully, someone will keep us posted as to how everyone did. DA

I second the motion. I have been busy just getting ready for the HOF ride!! I remember the panic that sets in, but with vintage it has to be worse. I bet Deere will not be in TRF with the parts semi.... (-:
I will be in the area on Saturday and have camera charged up. Posting photos on this forum is difficult for me but I will try.
Rainville: offer of pit help or whatever is still on the table. Let me know.

Sure wish we had an idea of who is riding in this and what they are riding. All makes and models, possibly to early to tell yet ?

Otte was always my favorite as a kid, but good luck to all. Safe riding first and foremost.

Thanks all for the best wishes. It looks like Vintage Deere Racing (VDR) pulled one off, and the Liquifire is appoaching 85% ready. Got held up by a spark issue and a dirty fuel tank, but she is a complete sled finally. It will be an honor to ride with all the vintage racers, especially the ETD Legends. I am thrilled just to line up with these guys:>)

Norton: We would be very happy to have you pit for us on Saturday! Call my cell at 585-406-4593 anytime if you like.

Don, sorry to hear about your misshap, but glad your are OK. If I can be of service (ie: parts), let me know.

Wish us luck!

PS: I hear it's going to 20 below zero for the race. BRRR...it's like 1975 conditions!

So Joe will the sled actually run when it pulls to the line? Have to let the bookies know what the over/under is soon.

Good luck pal!!
