Re: 78 CROSS COUNTRY
Brant800,
Nice looking CC you have there. It's nicer than 2 of the 3 that I have had to good fortune to purchase. Thank you for posting it here to make sure the Deere collectors have a fair shot at it. I am watching both the auction and this thread.
Guys,
As Matt has asked, please do not post about the price, value, percieved value or what you would pay for it. Be respectful to the seller for letting us know it was for sale, as we all know Deere only built 174 of these things. That said, Brandt, I will also expect you to play nice on here and repect the hardcore Deere guys in return. Several of us have CC Liquifire's in our collections that we are very passionate about, and a few of us have restored and/or ridden them too.
Good luck with your auction, and on the positive side it's also very nice to see CC Liquifire's getting some long overdue respect. That sled was a real contender back in the day, and even took 3rd and 4th in a hard fought I-500.
Thank you,
-Joe Rainville
