A number of the guys were already there this afternoon. I talked to Troy this early evening, and he reported things are pretty brown, and the lakes are looking slushy from the windshield of truck.
There are colder temps and a bit of snow in the forecast, but it remains to be seen if it will be enough to help any.
Here the snow really disappeared in the last 24 hours. Last Sunday we had great riding conditions, now...mud.
I'm heading up tomorrow, hoping they will save me a beer.

Re: At the HOF
I think those trails are done according to the reports on snowtracks--most towns say they are dirt except deep in the woods---With the colder temps maybe the lakes will be ok--or trailer to the wooded areas. I am sure the guys up there will find some ridable areas-- but to find conditions to ride from st germain to goegibic might be impossible. Well tomorrow will tell the story.

Poker Run will be done by car. So far those of us here have had a great time visiting. While riding is the primary goal, bench racing and bsing is very close. What scares me is the storm coming in on Sunday making our trip home sounding treacherous..snow but with ice. Did that a few years ago....not fun.

Re: At the HOF
Man I really feel for you guys, I just got back from the U.P.the other day and on the last day we were riding in 60 degree weather! The snow in the Lake Gogebic area was declining pretty fast. I hope you guys all still have fun though,I definitely feel your pain.
