I am the third owner. From my best knowledge of the sled, the original owner purchased it from the Arcadia John Deere dealer new and then had maybe put 3 or 4 tanks of gas in it and let it sit. The second owner had the sled given to him in the mid to late 90's and he had ridden it until he bent the ski. It then sat until the fall of 2009 when my father had done some work for the guy and received the sled as payment. I started the restoration in October of that year and I'm still not finished 100 percent!
