I need a favour please

Post by jeffreyrempel »

I want to buy this item on ebay (130495579235) but The seller doesnt ship to Canada or allow you to contact if you are from Canada. I contacted Ebay support to find out if there is any way for me to contact the seller about the item, but unfortunately there is no way.

I was wondering if someone from the USA can try to contact the seller on my behalf, and ask about the item. My email address is jeffbr@shaw.ca
Thank you,
Jeff :canadasmile:

I'll ask him why he won't ship to Canada.

That's Ryan...he's a nice guy to work with. Sometimes it can be a pain shipping Internationally if a person isn't familiar with customs, and the additional paperwork, and delivering directly to the post office, and accurately calculating shipping, etc.....fortunately ebay makes it easier.

His response,
Its not the worth the risk. The Pay-pal seller protection plan does not cover any items that are shipped outside the USA and our own United States Postal Service insurance is worthless. I like Canada and Canadians, but I've got to follow the laws of the land on this one. Sorry, I know how hard it is to get this stuff.

Why doesn’t someone here in the states or on the site in Wisconsin buy and ship it to Jeff if he wants it?

You can ship it to Mike's Parcel Pickup in Pembina, North Dakota if you want, and I'll bring it up, but it won't be quick, and it'll be more to reship from Winnipeg.
That is unless it's the same part I'm bidding on :twisted:

Why don't you let him win it and than you can pick it up.
Things do get lost in shipping you know. :silenced:

Thank you all for your help and time. I have decided to give up on this item, as someone has emailed me and offered me another NOS fixed face and hub assembly. :beers;
