I've got NOS tunnel stickers. Have reservations about letting them out. Imposter sleds could easily be made.

Can I get one for my 77 LF...there isn't one sign of any markings on that whole sled...nothing on the tunnel..under seat..under gas tank or anywhere...and I can't see where the grinder was ever used either as I stripped off all the original paint....tunnel looks all stock..but maybe it was changed early on and dealer forgot to re-tag the sled.

Certification stickers are being made by someone I think in Pennsylvania. I bought one about 3 years ago. There might be info in our FAQs section.

When you guys put the new stickers on how do you expose the original vin stamping?

SpitfireKing, It sounds to me like you have a tunnel out of Deere parts, the tunnels from the Parts dept. weren't stamped, the dealers were to stamp then when they changed the tunnels, usually they stamped them on the top ridge of the tunnel just below the fuel tank on the right side..

I wondered if that would work or if you had to try to use a sharp instrument to trace the original stamping.

Yep I checked all over in those spots..no go....but I really can't see where the tunnel was changed either...how would the dealer replace the fused welds or whatever you want to call them

oh ok...I thought they had a way to remove just the tunnle.....I'll look again but it looked like spots where they were attached...that must be one helluva press to make that a 1 piece design.

The tunnel is one piece and then the belly pan is a seperate piece that was tig welded and rivited to the tunnel. So I guess you could say that they are two seperate parts, however they were sold and replaced as one piece.
