Update, 10/9/11, I checked the protos out on one of my CC chassis yesterday & they do fit the Hole weren't quit exact but were at least a half a hole close on all bolt holes, ( a couple 5/16 flat washers on the bolts will cover any mounting imperfections) Keep in mind that this was on a 78 Liquifire with over 1500 miles on it so I don't know how bad the tunnel is warped??
I thought that was a pretty good fit, we'll see what Don & Brian say..
Guys it doesn't look good for us getting 100 orders?? unless I can pull a bunch out of my butt or you guys take more than your initial commitments?? So with that being said it's looking like the price will be $30.00 each, at least right now..
Latest news Rainville upped his order so were now at 66 things are looking up??

Actually, I am good to buy 2. One for the sled, one for the shelf. You never know when these are going to be produced again.

So, 2 instead of 1. Lets get the order over 100, I don't want to order 45 lol.

Thank you Kenny

Actually, I had to ck for myself & being I have a Sportfire chassis here I cked it out
( sorry Don I'm from the Show-Me-State ) & Don is right they will fit the 80-84 Trailfires & Sportfires, ( I don't have a 80-84 Liquifire here to Ck but I'd bet on what Don says ) although you would have some drilling to do either in the bumper or the tunnel..
They also will work as a rear bumper for the 340/S, but I'm not sure if the rear box door would be very functional with one installed??
I'm not sure what the supply of NOS bumpers for the newer sleds is BUT at least these will work on the riders, & look good & be functional, for show sleds???

Update 10/17/11

Price will be $26.00 Ea. IF we have Pre Paid orders for 100 bumpers otherwise the Price will be $30.00 Ea. for my order under 100 pieces & if not prepaid..
Note: they do have some kind of finish on them & the bolt holes drilled, but not sure if the finish would last or IF the finished products will even come the same way or not. So lets say that these prices are for UNFINISHED & will be drilled..

I won't know how much shipping to US OR Canada will be until I start shipping them

Right now were at 90 we still need orders for 10 more to get the price down to $26.00 ea guys....

I've got the proto finished product in my hands & will ck it out on a sled today then I'll be mailing the two out to Brian & Don for there evaluation..

Mr. Bob,

These "should" work on the 79 and up Trail, Sport and Liquifire by mounting them on the outside of the tunnel and trimming off the bottom curve with the lower bolt hole. I plan to to that to a few of mine.

My guess would be with a little pressure they would even work on the inside/front/top or whatever you want to call it, & then wouldn't need trimming & would help strengthen the running board..
got you down for 2 Bob
