Your work and determination are topnotch. From my own personal level, I have a hard time doing this quality of work on my vintage sleds anymore as I like to drive what I create. After a ride or two on these old sleds, they start to get pretty dirty right away. I've had to adjust my restoration thought process so I wouldn't go crazy.

The clue would be the JD part. You get Blitz Black at your JD dealer.

So.... it was a long day, but I was able to get a lot done. It is so much fun assembling the sled. After two years of all the hard work, its exciting to see it all come together.
Here is a pic of the progress so far.

....and before anyone says it.... I know it has a chrome rear grab handle. I just like it better than the black one.

The rear idler assembly is all completely NOS except the spring bushings.

Are the rear idler parts supposed to be green on '72s or is that your own touch?
