Looking for Rear Pivot Arm for 1980 Liquifire suspension. In Manual, P. 60-10-2 "Slide Suspension" page, on Fig. 4 part is listed as item No. 27. Also looked up OEM p/n which I though was AM 54693. Attached is diagram from Fig. 4 of manual.
[Tried to attach pdf diagram I reference above, but I must be doing something incorrectly as I don't see it with my post. Any help would be appreciated on how to do attachment.]
Thanks,
Jim

Does this help?
According to the John Deere parts catalog, AM54963 is for the 78 Cross Country skid.
This shows the one for the 80 Liquifire.

Yes, thanks. The second diagram you posted is the one I have and Item 27 is the part I need. As far as the OEM p/n AM 54693 is concerned, I thought it was the right part # but I guess I was wrong. I found it in JD parts catalog: 1517. Can anybody tell me how to get to the right catalog page in jd parts catalog to find correct oem part number [not that it would matter if someone out there has the pivot arm I need (for '80 Liquifire)].
Thanks

Are you using the online catalog? If not here is the link. You can search by model or part #'s. There's even a where used search that can come in handy.

The part number you are looking for would be AM55057. It fits 80-82 LF's (-222000) I should have one if you still need it.

Really appreaciate the help Johnny and DA. DA, yes I would be interested in AM55057 as long as the Pivot Shaft is not rusted frozen inside the tube. Also looking for item 29 on dwg (M68562), which is white plastic "Spacer" (need 2). While I am at it, do you know where I can get brand new suspension springs?
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, as it turns out I don't have the AM55057 from a Liquifire. The ones I have are off of Trail and Sportfires. Sorry.

DA,
Thanks for looking. One thing I am curious about is why I couldn't post my pdf attachment. You posted your attachment of the dwg above. Please tell me what is the trick to attaching a pic to a post.
Thanks,
Jim

Not sure, did you get any error messages when you tried to post the pdf? The most common problem is the file size is too big. I can't remember the size of the file, but I think it is around 250kb. I wouldn't think a pdf would have that issue though.
