1982 Liquifire For Sale

Post by Mottsi »

I have a 1982 John Deere Liquifire to sell. This sled is in very good condition. It has a new seat (put on for this season). The windshield is in mint condition (no cracks, not hazed over). The carburetors have been cleaned and tuned up (by DeereKid9). The track is in great shape. The hoods paint is nice (a couple of light scratches or chips). Tunnel is straight and in very good shape. The decals on this sled look new. The only thing that needs to be done on this sled is to put the airbox back on and get some wear rods for the skis. After the carbs were put back on, the sled started on the second pull.

Price is a $1000.

Thanks for looking and you can contact me at my email mottsi@yahoo.com

Thanks!

Sean

After 82_Liquifires response I have done some research with Don. It appears that it is not the original motor in this 82. I apologize for any confusion that I have caused. The number stamped on the engine is TC440-D202. I don't know what that number indicates. Maybe someone on here does and can help out. Below is a picture of the serial number and build date on the sled. Maybe this will help out.

That said, this is still a terrific sled. Hard to find them with a good windshield and seat.

I agree this machine is very nice. I was simply looking for the parts that were unique to the 82. Good Luck with your sale. :beers;
