buying a 78 or 79 invader this afternoon. i use to own a 80 Liq and that was a fun sled that handled good. has any of you owned or ridden a invader? i know this is a jd forum but without kawi we wouldnt have some of the deeres. these sleds handle as good as the Liqs? i heard they have more power. inputs...

I've had 2 Invaders; a 340 and a 440LTD. They handled well but the 1980 Liquifire is more comfortable and has better wind protection. You're in for a real thrill the first time you go drift busting on an Invader...

Nice sleds but make sure and run the airbox with the powerjet carbs and if it's been sitting any length of time plan on changing the crank seals. Also if you don't know about it, there's a web site for us Kawasaki addicts at http://www.kawasakitrax.com
