Nice job Chris, and thanks for posting pic's. I am looking forward to a strong Deere turn out at the I-500, and I hope for lots more finishers than last year. Thank God Brian Hitt got his accross the line last year, even down on power with a busted pipe.

Also learn from my mistake last year and get in as much testing time as you can. I am planning to be in MN the entire week before at a secret testing location where I hope there is lots of snow.

Any idea on how many jdsledders are making the rescheduled date? I would expect to see JRC on a LF, Wade on his 340/s, Chris and Dave Chambers on Liquifires. Doug Oster should be there on his. I hear Otte had a conflict with the old date, not sure now. Jesse and Mitch should be there on LF's, and I think Chuck will make another attempt too. Looks like a good mix of 1st and 2nd gen machines too.

Would be great to get a half dozen of us accross the finish line! Hell, I will be happy to make the first gas stop after last year... :sled:

Mine's about 95% done. I stuck with a 108C and Deere secondary but went with plastic skis, hyd brakes, coilover and gas shock in the skid. I didn't find any cheap gas ski shocks at the swaps this year so I'll stick with the hydraulic for now. I have reproduction stock graphics for the hood but the paint didn't turn out as I'd hoped. I'll run it this way, have it repainted this summer then install the decals. I have a room booked in TRF but haven't actually registered for the race yet. I need to find some snow to test on as I don't think I'll make the trek unless I can get a couple hundred miles on beforehand.

Hi Mark,

Love the factory proto look you have on your Liquifire, awsome! Hope you make it up the TRF with it and take your shot.

Well done,
