OK... i think I'm done with it and have it running for good now. Replaced the condensor yesterday. Due to mounting differences, it rubbed on the timing cam in the flywheel and wore a hole.

Did that, remounted the plug wires to the coils, put new gaskets and diaphragm in the carb today and put it together and it was good to go. The old diaphragm was too stiff and wasnt pumping at idle and low rpm.

A big thanks to you Brian and everyone else on this board. I will post a thread in the projects area when I finally get a chance to sit in front of the computer long enough to write everything out. I've got so much labor into this thing.
