Need drive sprockets for my JDX4 Special

Post by jdxrobin »

Hey everyone,
I am looking for decent drive sprockets for my JDX4 Special (p.n. AM52078).
One of mine is fair, the other needs to be replaced...would like two NOS if possible.
Let me know.

Thanks,
Robin

I believe a 300 would work too. I have a low mile 300 I'm parting out if that helps. I would like to sell the chain with the sprockets though.

Thanks for the response.
I am actually looking for the drive sprockets inside the tunnel for the track.
My X4 is also low mileage, but the guy I bought the sled from threw a cleat and it almost ripped one of the nylon (?) cogs completely off the one sprocket.
Sliced the tunnel also...had to make a heck of a noise

One other thing, I'm not altogether sure what the best way is to remove them from the axle. They are stuck on pretty solid...any tricks or ideas?

What is the type of drive sprocket??? 8 lug or 10 lug and is it round or hex axle? I can look through what I have right now in an old shop we are going through. Maybe I can help. Thanks. :P

And I believe it should be a 1 1/8" dia shaft.

Hello all,
...made a pretty good size mistake.
I just checked the JD parts catalog and found I looked at the wrong section...JDX4 instead of JDX4 Special
The drive sprocket part number I need is AM52913. I then did a search for the part number and found it is the same sprocket as on the Cyclones, and Liquifiers (not the Cross Country though)
Maybe this will help a little in my search?
Anybody have any of these laying around  ?

I have a whole lot of AM52913 NOS Sprockets!! The mold stamp says AM52913, but they also have tags on them from John Deere the say AM54216! These are hex shaft, 8 lugs. Looks like they were Liquidator ones too. 920-763-4954. Craig

The AM54216 drivers are not interchangeable with AM52913.
His X4 should have a round driveshaft.

I believe your AM54016 drivers are the optional hex shaft, 2.52 pitch versions, that were made available so you could run a production track in the Dator. I'd have to do some further looking.
Rainville would know.

Yep...my shaft is...uh :shifty: round
I was hoping it would be easier to come up with the AM52913.
Amazing that in this case, Dator parts are available and X4/Cyclone parts are the elusive ones.

:offtopic: Hey Craig, I have seen your ad on Craigslist, do you have mostly fire series stuff, or a bit of everything. My boy has a Cyclone and I have the X4...it would be nice to find another parts outlet.
