Dupont Paint Code

I am wondering if anyone used dupont paint to paint there dater. I would like the code if you have it for dupont. Thanks

Cooter, when I needed paint for my first project I took an NOS hood to Sherwin-Williams in Fort Wayne. They scanned the color and produced a code that my painter could mix. I think most guys that have seen my "mean green" projects will attest that the color is spot on. That said, if you have a piece of the sled that has the exact color you want why don't you find a Dupont dealer that can scan it and produce a paint code?

I would do that but it is already in primer. It was in primer when i got it. My painter uses dupont paint so he would like the code for it. Thanks

the black is 99a i use single stage on the black and have it mixed 40% gloss it makes a nice semi gloss finish.your painter will know what i am talking about.

Looked this thread up to check the paint code.

What was the yellow for? All the yellow on my dator comes from decals, unless that is the color of yellow for the decals?

I assume to get the dator green on the tunnel and most of the hood you use gs188k.

Hello there,I have a paint code that is dead on Dator green,even has the hint of metalic.Maybe the gs188k is too i dont know.It is the Dupont Nasson line of paint .And it will save you about 50.00 on paint and about 30.00 on clear.It took my guy about 3 days in his spare time to get this mix correct.I took him a nos hood and he kept playing with it till he nutted it .Let me know if you want it and i will send you the code.Brock
