2013 JDsleds.com Raffle Sled OFFICIAL TOPIC
This is the official topic for the 2013 JDsleds.com Raffle Sled.
So far:
We have acquired a 1978 Liquifire 440, donated by Joe Rainville.
Brock "skoalmint" and Dustin "JD600", who have pushed out several VERY nice restorations recently, have agreed to do the work.
Nick Freatman picked up the sled from Rainville's place to transfer to Terry from BB Vintage Snowmobile Transportation.
Terry of BB Vintage Snowmobile Transportation is donating transportation of the sled from NY to southwest Ohio.
When the time comes, I will be requesting donations in the form of parts, either directly, or purchased through New Breed Parts. Any profits thought New Breed will be donated to charity!
Brock asked for opinions: factory paint, or better then factory (overspray, etc)?

Re: 2013 JDsleds.com Raffle Sled OFFICIAL TOPIC
Hey guys, I went to Brock's yesturday and took the chassis that Tom donated and the skid that I donated to the project. When I arrived there he took me on a quick tour of his collection and seen some pretty cool stuff. We then unloaded my truck and got to work on the tear down of the sleds. I got there about 9 and we started about 10 and it was around 10 or so when we stopped and started a BS session and was around 1130 when I left for home. Had an awsome time and we are planning another charity sled work day in a few weeks, anyone interested let me know when some of you who want to participate in this are free on a Sat. and we can get a date set. I have posted a couple pics of what we accomplished.
