WOW...you've put some serious work into that thing. Nice!! The hoods that I have here are in much better condition, now that I see what you actually have. It appears that you have a lot of time in the hood already. I'll get you some pics of what I have. If you want one,it's yours. Centerpoint performance has "some" of the requested parts. Talked to Larry Skolney yesterday. I am emailing him the list and will get back to you on the prices. Again...just want to say, you do some really, really nice work! :usa: Tom
Ditto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great work guys.

Besides what appears to be a first class sled build, I have to say that you did the best job of sharing the build process that I've seen. Fine job.

The '78 hood hinge is an issue most of us are looking at, most of them are broke, cracked, bolted on, or something.
You'll be providing a service to the group if you can demonstrate that fix.

The crack on the back side looks much worse in the close-up picture. In reality,it's pretty small. The rest of the hood is 100% factory original. No garage repair jobs. Very light, compared to your 60 pounder. I'll get it down there, one way or another. Perhaps it's about time for a road trip. :usa:
