Hi guys, yes. Its been sitting in the same spot in the garage for almost a year now after I finished it. I have it for auction on ebay as a trial run to see if there is any interest. I doubt that the bidding will reach my reserve price, but I would never just give it away. I hope that it ends up falling into the right hands, or, it will sit where it is for a long time. I enjoyed the challenge of the restoration, but to be honest, I have other more important priorities in my life.
I have a lot of watchers on it right now, but Im guessing that its all of you, lol.
thx

Looks like a million bucks to me but I bet 5 grand would turn it.

Jeff
I have to tell you …….you were more than up to the challenge!!!!

I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see a first year green 400 and not the usual fire series resto.

If I didn’t have so many irons in the fire I would be all over that sled!

Helmets off to ya!

Thank you for the kind words

My reserve of $1999.00 was met, so someone will be the new owner of a 1972 JD 400.

I will be in Minot ND saturday morning to deliver the sled to the new owner from Minnesota. This will be my first time in the USA. There has been some interest in the parts that I listed and also some interest from a few people wanting to see the sled before it makes its way to Minnesota. The buyer has agreed and has no problem with anyone wanting to stop by to look. The clutch and kill switch are sold but I do still have the 1972 black rear grab handle, pair of coils including cover and choke cable. I also have all the complete manuals for the 1976 liquifire, including an original magazine add and various other manuals for the 100 series sleds if anyone is interested. I will be in the parking lot of the dakota square mall between 10-11 am. If your interested, send me a PM, Thanks.
